Join us for a leisurely and educational stroll through the historic University of Rhode Island campus. Home to scholars, students, and athletes, the 1200-acre University of Rhode Island campus is situated in the historic village of Kingston, Rhode Island and was founded in 1892. Featuring a mixture of modern and classical architecture, a bevy of gardens, as well as the iconic tree-lined central quadrangle, the landscaping and structures beautifully capture the unique history of this storied campus.
All participants in this walking tour will view classic to modern architecture, flowering and medicinal plants, a bronze statue and a small waterfall. Bring your favorite camera, sketchpad or your eyes to capture the beauty of the University of Rhode Island Kingston Campus.
