Art is found everywhere! In this two-part workshop we will take a closer look into 10 Major Arcana cards of the Rider-Waite tarot deck to further identify metaphor, symbolism, and imagery. Erica is a certified Tarot Card reader and will share nuggets of wisdom to further deeper understanding of the chosen cards. We will find inspiration for art-making through the time withstanding images of the tarot deck. Students will either choose a card to replicate in their own style or creatively make their own version of a tarot card. Students will be offered materials to collage, draw, or paint. Additional materials can be brought to class. No art or tarot experience required. All are welcome.
