This introduction to ceramics gives students the skills to create their own ceramic works, with exposure to basic wheel throwing and hand building techniques. Different decorating and glazing techniques will be explored. By the end of the session, students will have completed multiple projects and will feel comfortable with different ways of working with clay.

One 25 lb. bag of clay is included ($50 value includes glazes and firings) as well as time to work in the studio outside of class.
