Paint expressive landscapes and seascapes in your choice of acrylics, oils or watercolors by using techniques to develop depth, mix colors, and apply perspective. Convey an original feeling to your paintings as you create color foundations with practice and confidence while incorporating new knowledge of value scales, tints, shades, and tones. Learn how to use a variety of brushes and a palette knife, for multiple painting applications. Practice with dramatic light and shadow effects to simulate intervals and seasons. We will incorporate successful painting methods from Barbizon and Impressionistic styles. Bring new life to your paintings as you progress and incorporate a special style and sentiment into your work. All levels are welcome. Choose favorite photographs for inspiration. Paint, supplies, and canvas/papers may be purchased according to the suggested supply list on annebianchi.com or bring $25 which includes all the materials needed for the 5-week class.
