In this workshop we will be creating a series of botanical prints in a multi- layered process using the gel plate mono-printing technique. Each print will be as unique and beautiful as it is found in nature. We will build layers with intricate detail using fresh or pressed botanicals, stamps, stencils and found objects. Your finished prints can be stand alone works of art or used as collage material and also can be embellished with a variety of marking tools.
I look forward to sharing the excitement of each print with you. Please bring a variety of fresh, dried, or pressed botanicals to class; ie. ferns, leaves, branches, flowers, weeds!
