Capture the fleeting beauty of early autumn in Rhode Island! Join us for a four-hour, immersive plein air (outdoor) painting workshop designed to help you connect with nature and translate the magnificent landscape of the South Kingstown Land Trust onto canvas or paper. Whether you are picking up a brush for the first time or are an experienced painter looking to sharpen your outdoor skills, this workshop offers tailored guidance to match your experience level.
We will focus on the core fundamentals of outdoor painting: selecting a compelling composition, simplifying complex landscape shapes, managing changing natural light, and capturing a distinct sense of place.

Location: South County Land Trust parking lot, Matunuck, RI (We will meet here and walk to our painting site together).
Skill Level: All levels welcome (Beginner to Advanced).
Mediums: Watercolor or Oil.
