During this 8 week course, students will learn the basics of wheel throwing, from centering to forming simple shapes on the potters wheel. Students will also learn to trim their bowls, cups and plates as well as making and adding handles to their mugs. On the last day of the session, students learn to glaze and finish their works. This class is designed for beginners with little to no experience. Students can expect to make 5-10 pieces by the end of the course.
One 25 lb. bag of clay is included ($50 value includes glazes and firings) as well as time to work in the studio outside of class.
