Do you feel you’re not getting as much out of your clay as you could be? Then this is the class for you. This class focuses on techniques to improve your wheel work. The goal of the class is honing in on the technical aspects of wheel throwing, specifically how to gather more clay from the bottom to grow your pieces inch by inch. In this class we start with 2 pounds of clay and work our way up throughout the session. I hope to challenge the students to learn and explore some new moves.

Pottery 1 class is required. One 25 lb. bag of clay is included ($45 value includes glazes and firings) as well as time to work in the studio outside of class.
