A collagraph print is essentially a collage that can be printed again and again. In this class, students will start by creating a collage of interesting textures (made from paper, fabrics, threads, dried plants, etc.) on a piece of cardboard or plexiglass. Then the image will be sealed with acrylic and it can be printed as an intaglio or relief print. The finished product will be a beautiful image that you can print over and over again - great for making cards, wrapping paper or using in mixed medium pieces.
A $15 supply fee will cover the use of some materials, please bring your favorite collage supplies to this class.
